It is the holiday season and I just got an amazing gift from Less Than Three Press! They’ve extended a contract offer! So, Brothers with Benefits has now found a home at Less Than Three Press! It, along with Evie Kiels’s book in the series, is under contract with them. =)

Brothers with Benefits is my newest twincest book and is part of the 66 Faces series. The 66 Faces series is a series of books that revolve around the fictional video chat website 66 Faces. It’s co-written with Evie Kiels and both of us have a few more books planned for the series.

So keep an eye out for my story, Brothers with Benefits, and Evie Kiels’s story, Casual (Sex) Friday!

Tomorrow, my story Christmas Gifts will release from MLR Press as well, so keep an eye out for that, too!

Recently I’ve had a ton of spam accounts sign up here for some reason. Today I went through and deleted any accounts that had a suspicious name or email. If you’re a real person and I deleted you by accident, my apologies. I need to see if there’s a way to make it harder for the spambots to sign up.

Since I’m kinda bored today, I figured I’d start participating in Thursday Thirteen. I think I’ll start off with 13 Foods I like!

1. Burgers! (Yummy!)

2. Cherries

3. French Fries

4. Chicken Pot Pie Soup

5. Chocolate covered bananas

6. Philly Cheesesteaks

7. Pizza

8. Turkey Subs

9. Biscuits and Gravy

10. Fresh cantaloupe

11. Apple Pie

12. Chicken nuggets

13. Brownies!

It’s been a while since I’ve updated here, so I figured I’d give everyone a heads up on what’s going on!

My Christmas themed story, Christmas Gifts, that was originally written as part of the holiday celebration in the M/M Romance group over at Goodreads, is nearly done being edited. I’m waiting for a feedback from a few more of my critique partners, but I’m hoping to have it fully edited and off to MLR Press soon. =)

My newest twincest piece, Brothers with Benefits, is almost fully written. I’ve got one or two more scenes to write and then it’s off to my critique partners to cut open with a knife. So far I think I’m enjoying writing this one a bit more than I did with Texan Summer. Hopefully I won’t get to the point where I just want to stabstabstab it like I did with Texan Summer. =P

Next week is the romance convention, Authors After Dark, in Philadelphia. I’ll be there with my author hat on as well as gawking at some of my favorite writers. Hopefully I meet one or two of my fans and maybe snare some new readers. =)

So, I just found out about the GayRomLit Retreat, the first convention/retreat focusing on M/M romance. It looks like it’s going to be a fun chance for authors to mingle with other authors and readers. There are tons of opportunities for readers to meet their favorite M/M authors up close and personal.

Author and publisher registration opened up today and is open until Feb 10, 2011. http://gayromlit.com/ I’m not sure when reader registration opens, but keep your eyes open!

Also, if anyone wants to split a hotel room, send me an email at RogueCooper @gmail.com. I’ve got a Jr. Suite with two queen beds reserved already. =)

In December, the Goodreads M/M Romance group released a short story a day for twenty-five days. All of these stories were written by authors in that group and were based off of photos provided by group members. Now all of those twenty-five stories are available in one anthology — Stuff my Stocking: M/M Romance Stories that are Nice… and Naughty.

You can download this ebook anthology for free at Goodreads. Just click here and click “download ebook”. The book is available in PDF, Mobi, and ePub, so it’s able to be read on most ereaders.

The anthology features stories from authors like Kim Dare, Jade Archer, Serena Yates, Amy Lane, and of course, me! So head on over there and get your copy and enjoy. =)

Hey, guys! My next short story, I’ll Be Home, goes on sale at Dreamspinner on December 15. I’ll Be Home is the holiday sequel to Fireworks.

Summary:
Since getting together romantically with his best friend Blake on the Fourth of July, Cameron hasn’t seen his new boyfriend in three months. Blake’s attending college in Seattle, and dealing with a cross-country romance has its challenges—nightly phone calls aren’t enough to ease Cam’s fears that a sexy sorority girl will snare Blake’s interest. With Christmas approaching, Blake is home for the holidays, but the only thing Cam really wants for Christmas—Blake’s presence—is a gift he knows can’t last.

You can purchase this story here: http://www.dreamspinnerpress.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=2116

This release is just in time for Dreamspinner’s Dreams Come True Promotion!
“This year let Dreamspinner make your eBook dreams come true. Each day from Dec. 26- Dec. 31, we will draw one name from the customers that purchased during the month of December to win every eBook on their wish list.”

Happy Holidays!

My twincest novella, Texan Summer, is finally available! You can find it on Silver Publishing’s website or on Amazon!

Happy NaNoWriMo to all! It’s that time of year again when all of us writers are frantically trying to write up 50k in thirty days. I’m writing a YA piece about two sophomores who fall in love during the course of an academic competition. I just hit the required daily 1,667 words, so now I’m taking a break to do some blogging and work on a couple of my editing assignments before my bosses get cranky.

Good luck to my fellow NaNoers!

Lots of things have been happening around here! I just got my first round of edits of Texan Summer from Silver Publishing! I also got the cover mock-up for the book!

Dreamspinner Press has also offered me a contract for the sequel to Fireworks! Woo!

Don’t forget, I’ll be at XCon World in two weeks with Marguerite Labbe! If you’re near Myrtle Beach or feel like traveling, come to the convention and meet us!
